For the last 3 years, we have had the honor of hosting our Cars And Coffee - Savannah GA event upon one of the most picturesque places in this region - that of Bethesda Academy off of Ferguson Avenue. The locale in midst of THE most gobsmacking massive Oak Tree lined drive, has everyone stopping to get pictures of their cars as the golden morning light cascades thru those trees.
Originally named Bethesda Orphan House and Academy in 1740, it began as a colonial orphanage and carries with it the distinction of being the oldest child caring institution in the country and was visited by many of the country’s founding fathers, and found one of its earliest supporters in Benjamin Franklin!

On Saturday July 6th 2019, we'll continue this tradition of both hosting our Cars & Coffee there, as well, we will be asking for a US$20 donation at the gate as we'll also have coffee and water, as well as donuts availed! It should also be said with cap in hand, this event in the last 3yrs has raised US$20,000 that has gone directly into scholarships for academically gifted students in midst of economic hardship, who will greatly benefit in going to this 275 year old "House of Mercy" learning institution!
